According to the Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Services Administration, Medication Assisted Treatment is, “…the use of FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a holistic approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.”  We prescribe various medication assisted treatments including, Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol

These medications may ease the symptoms of opioid withdrawal and may be part of your treatment, one you have been evaluated by our psychiatrist for assessment and need.
